- Analysis and planning: The first step of our heritage restoration process involves thoroughly researching the history of the building to fully understand how it should be restored to its former glory. Next, we will carefully analyze the stone and mortar to identify areas that have degraded over time and what features will need to be fixed.
- Careful cleaning: In addition to restoring any degrading spots of the building, our heritage restoration project may include carefully cleaning the structure to refresh its appearance. We might use soft blasting, chemical cleaning, or laser cleaning to ensure that we won’t accidently damage any surfaces. We will even clean the materials by hand when necessary.
- Preserving the surfaces: Once the surfaces of the building have been cleaned and restored, we can carefully preserve the surfaces. This might include applying a sealing treatment or perhaps a clear coating or otherwise to keep the surface in top condition and prevent any further damage.
